內容簡介：

隨心所欲的是夢想，滿途荊棘的才是理想

生命很短，理想很大。若意識到人生根本正在一分一秒的倒數，甚至充滿無法預知的未知數，那我們應該在有生之年隨心所欲，還是拼盡全力追尋理想，即使明知荊棘滿途。

一位本來高薪厚䘵的外科醫生，在偏遠戰區參加義務救援期間，醫院遭受攻擊，同事為保他安全，把他困在太平間。一室之內，他碰見另一位也在躲避亂局的年輕工程師。兩人互不相識，各有煩惱的前因。在昏亂不堪、疑惑人生的一剎相遇，他們在這密閉空間爭辯起來。在互相怨懟的對話中赫然發現，當人徘徊在生活艱難與現實挫折之間時，很輕易的便會把追求理想的初心塵封甚至乾脆放棄，多少棵帶着理想的苗芽就此被折曲，卻不是人人都有幸遇到橄欖枝，給自己一記當頭棒喝。

2021年中英劇團以全新製作班底，把著名編劇莊梅岩創作，被評為「一生必看」的舞台劇重現舞台，並邀得第一屆香港舞台劇獎最佳男演員（悲劇／正劇）得主潘煒強再度回歸香港劇壇參與演出。當人人都在經歷生命倒數，就讓我們陪伴同行，與觀眾一起重拾赤子之心。

Synopsis: Whateverone wishes is fantasy; a path full of brambles along is aspiration

Life is short yet aspiration is great. If we ever are aware that life is in fact a countdown of time,minute by minute, full of unexpectables and unknowns, we should live whatever we wish or work our hardest for our aspirations, even though we know brambles are along the path.

A surgeon who has been earning high salaries is on voluntary rescue service in a remote district in war. The hospital is under attack. To keep him safe, his co-workers lock him up in the mortuary. Also inside the room is a young engineer, similarly avoiding the danger. The two strangers have their own problems before coming here. Amidst chaos and confusion in life, their short encounter in the closed space turns into an argument. During their bitter conversation, they suddenly realise when stuck in the hardships and setbacks of life, one easily puts aside or simply aborts one's aspirations. Many people give up their aspirations at the budding stage and few are extended an olive branch and give themselves a wake-up blow.

In 2021, a new production team of Chung Ying will perform this must-see-once-in-life drama by renowned playwright Chong Mui Ngam,which features Best Actor (Tragedy/Drama) of the 1st HongKong Drama Awards Peter Poon's comeback performance to Hong Kong theatre. Everyone's life is a countdown. Let us go in company along with our audience and regain our young and original aspiration.
