Synopsis: Boarding Tram for your amazing tour of Hong Kong Island past and present as “DingDing” sets off on a novel adventure online!
In a continuation of Jess Lau Ching-wa and Lam Kin-choi’s heart-warming Hong Kong picture book, Little Big Tram, Fong Fong Projet d’Art blends images, miniatures, animation, and more to traverse the city in time and space. Heading through Wan Chai from Johnston Road to Queen’s Road East, via a trip down memory lane to the times when Lee Tung Street was better known as “Wedding Card Street”, the show goes off the beaten track to reveal a colourful array of people, places, and city scenes. Don’t forget either, when you leave the tram, to share what you have seen during your journey with DingDing.
#4 Causeway Bay in Autumn
Leaving Wan Chai, DingDing arrives at Causeway Bay where the well-known Victoria Park is located. Many families come to the Tai Hang neighbourhood to catch the Fire Dragon Dance that performed only in autumns. Shall we go sightseeing first?
