2020年是奧地利作曲家萊哈爾誕辰150週年紀念,其多首劃時代輕歌劇著作,開啟二十世紀初維也納輕歌劇的「白銀時代」。
本屆香港藝術節除了帶來維也納交響樂團於2020/21樂季的開幕音樂會外,亦將放映樂團為萊哈爾誕辰150週年而策劃的音樂會(世界首播)。曲目包括耳熟能詳的《金銀圓舞曲》、風靡世界的《風流寡婦》精采選段,和講述一段維也納與中國異地情緣的《微笑之國》男高音名曲「我心全屬於你」。

Synopsis: Recalling the glamorous Silver Age of waltzes and operettas, the Wiener Symphoniker celebrated the 150th anniversary of Franz Lehár’s birth with a tribute to “The Merry Widow”, “The Land of Smiles” and other memorable works of the composer.
At Theater an der Wien where these mesmerising tunes began life, the sensational and magnetic tenor Piotr Beczała headed a stellar line-up, including the phenomenal soprano Camilla Nylund and maestro conductor Manfred Honeck, the recipient of the Artist of the Year award at the 2018 International Classical Music Awards.
