Synopsis: Mr Rooster rises every morning when the sun comes up. Ms Owl sleeps during the day and goes out at night. The two live next door but have never met. How can they get to know each other? And will they become friends?
In The New Neighbour of Rooster, contemporary drama group FREE-TO-PLAY adapts humorous illustrated children’s book Who’s Next Door?, by Japanese author Kishira Mayuko, into a delightful online show. Adopting popular object theatre techniques, the performers combine fun puppets, made from everyday items, and movement to deliver an entertaining tale with a thought-provoking twist. Every webcast will include post-show activities to enhance young viewers’ creativity, help them build social relationships, and share their joy.

Day in, day out, the two neighbours just did not even have a chance to meet each other. However, they were not discouraged. Instead, they prepared small gifts for each other every day in order to create surprises. One day, the sky was so dark that they could not tell if it was day or night, and they finally met each other...
