內容簡介：

品特作品的風格對當代影響巨大，亦被專稱為「品特式」（Pinteresque），大量運用靜默「品特的沉默」(The “Pinter Silence”)與停頓「品特的停頓」(The “Pinter Pause”)。在語言之下，是角色之間的權力鬥爭、猜忌與威脅。

在六月進入劇場之前，翻譯及導演潘惠森將帶領演員，演讀他翻譯的 《時光 Old Times》 ，同時與觀眾分享其中奧妙與底蘊，一同認識諾貝爾文學獎得主英國戲劇大師哈洛．品特的名作。「在發掘語言的可能性，利用那種存在於語言中的模稜兩可與隱晦」，在挖掘的也許是——我們怎樣去操控語言？

Synopsis: Harold Pinter’s works have been so impactful in the 20th century that they have spawned their own words used to describe certain hallmarks of his works: “Pinteresque”, “The Pinter Silence” and “The Pinter Pause.”

This reading by guest director and translator Paul Poon and some of Hong Kong’s leading artists bring you into a touchingly intimate relationship with the play’s unfolding events.
