The Plague (Cantonese Version)
Presented by: Hong Kong Arts Festival
Produced by: Hong Kong Arts Festival
Platform: HERMES Live
Synopsis: A plague has left a once prosperous and stable modern city devastated. As the pandemic recedes, five witnesses take part in an independent inquiry to comb through the causes and consequences of the catastrophe.
There are diverse opinions in the city. Dr Rex wishes to testify to the event from a neutral and objective perspective. In a severe social event, however, everyone makes a choice for their own reasons. The four other witnesses have different views on neutrality. When neutrality loses its credibility, does a hearing still suffice as an effective action?
