《爵士「不」取消》

內容簡介：

《爵士「不」取消》是一個配合葵青劇院特定環境而策劃的網上音樂節目，旨在探索即興音樂創作，把意想不到的元素融入其中，以不同的表達形式（包括冥想、沖泡咖啡等）結合不同藝種，在劇院各處空間（包括化妝間、卸貨區、大堂等）演出，擴展舞台演出的可能性。一系列4集精采演出將於9至10月陸續出場。

第一集【樊麗華 & 打尖：爵士、世界音樂與敲擊】
樊麗華是香港土生土長的女鼓手，畢業於香港浸會大學音樂系，主修敲擊樂。她曾於2008年於美國伯克萊音樂學院進修爵士鼓。她組成樂隊組合「打尖」，演繹糅合爵士樂與帶民族風的韻律。樂隊在劇院演藝廳的卸貨區演出，探索充滿活力和力量的韻律。

Synopsis: Jazz Un-cancelled is an online site-specific project held at the Kwai Tsing Theatre. The project aims to explore music improvisation with surprise elements, integrating different forms of expression (such as meditation, coffee-making etc.) with different genres played out in various spaces of the Theatre (such as dressing room, loading bay, foyer etc.) to expand the possibilities of staging. A series of 4 videos has been produced for streaming on online platforms from Sep to Oct.

First Episode 【Anna Fan & Da Jian: Jazz, World Music & Percussion】
Hong Kong-born female drummer Anna Fan holds a music degree from the Hong Kong Baptist University majoring in percussion. In 2008, she went to the Berklee College of Music to study jazz drumming in the U.S. She also formed the band Da Jian, which focuses on mixing jazz with ethnic rhythms. Their performance is held at the Theatre’s loading bay, where they explore the vigorous, powerful and energetic rhythms.
